About Me
Penspa is a place, where fountain pens can regain their life and soul… or, my desk. I have been repairing and restoring pens for a decade. I work mainly with vintage pens, and I specialize in the oldest ones – from the beginning to the 20’s of the 20th century. I focus on pens with flexible nibs. Watermans and Swans are in the center of my attention. I like Pelikans and Montblancs, too, and because I live in Germany, I have an easy access to them.
My service is known to be personalised – I often advise my clients on what to get to match their needs best. So, if you are looking for a pen but you are not sure what to choose, do not hesitate to contact me.
In Poland, I was a co-organizer of Pen Show Poland in Katowice. Currently, I live in Kiel, Germany, but my services are worldwide. I am also a moderator of the biggest pen trade Facebook group–Fountain Pen Collecting Buy-Sell-Trade.
What I like most about restoring pens, is giving them a second life. You get an old, dirty, scratched pen, sometimes with a bent nib, and you make it beautiful and usable again. It’s a bit like being a magician 🙂 I use vintage pens on a daily basis. My personal favourite is a Waterman 52.
